We have a number of extracurricular opportunities available to our students here at Wildwood, including Robotics and OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books).
Robotics - we had so much interest during our initial robotics meetings! Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest and donated their support. A decision has been made to offer a true FLL Competition team and a more casual Robotics Club focused solely on robots - building them, programing them, and doing challenges with them.
* The first meeting of the ROBOTICS CLUB will be on Friday, Oct 19th after school from
3:35 - 5:00 pm.
* The FLL COMPETITION TEAM will continue to meet every on Mondays from
3:35 - 5:30 pm.
OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books) will hold it's first meeting this Friday (10/12) during lunch (11:30 - 12:00). Stephanie Hargrave has taken the lead on OBOB and will be present at the meeting to explain the ins and outs of the program, competition, and more. All students who are interested in participating in OBOB should be present for the meeting. Future meeting dates and times will be set after Friday.
