Hi Everyone -
One of our students, Thea Brevard, has come up with an amazing enterprise called 'Care Kits for the Homeless'. She is accepting donations and clothing to build care kits for the homeless to be given out in both Hood River and Portland.
In addition, she's developed a great partnership with The Warming Hut to provide them with clothing and care kits to give out.
Just $25.00 will purchase a care kit filled with coupons for food, food, shower passes, hand warmers, chapstick, and much more.
In addition, any old warm clothes such as jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, and boots will be very appreciated. If you have old kid's clothes, we'll work out a way to get those to kids in need as well.
Boxes for both clothes and donations are in the lobby of Wildwood.
