The Columbia Gorge STEM Hub is offering an opportunity for girls to meet and talk to a local engineer. Here is the information if you want to find out more and register your daughter!
EVENT: Introduce a Girl to Engineering Hood River Library | February 20 | 5:30pm - 7pm The Dalles Library | February 23 | 1pm - 2:30pm White Salmon | Date/Time/Location TBD Female engineers will share about their careers and then lead groups of students in grades 5-8 through an escape room engineering challenge. I also called and talked to the coordinator. She said if a boy is very interested, they will let them in providing there are spots - register and go from there.
