At these gatherings, you will experience the amazing culture that Wildwood has created to inspire and nurture inquisitiveness in our students and counter the mental health epidemic that is gripping so many American youth.

 

We'll go into detail about how our academic programs are empowering our students to excel at high levels of achievement. Wildwood does not rely on worksheets or hours and hours of homework, but rather a rich interdisciplinary, expeditionary pedagogy that emphasizes student inquiry and student choice. 

 

We view our small class size in combination with our superb teachers as crucial to the students’ high level of engagement and enthusiasm for knowledge. Wildwood faculty are passionately committed to experiential learning - where students learn outside the classroom and in their community that is the learning laboratory of the Columbia Gorge!
