Two people wearing outdoor clothing are taking notes in a forested area with yellow autumn foliage. One is holding a clipboard and writing, while the other uses a tablet.

This is an exciting moment in your student’s life.

Wildwood is a place where individuals flourish in community, where they can be themselves, and discover even more about who they will become.

Student Support and Accommodations

Wildwood’s size is a tremendous strength in supporting our students. Our excellent teacher/student ratio means every student benefits from a close relationship with the educators around them. We’ve seen, time and again, the tremendous benefits of this approach.

As a very small school, we do not have a formal IEP process as you would encounter in the public school system, but we strive to meet students needs within our limitations. We approach all student support discussions collaboratively with our Head of School, Lead Educator, and School Nurse.

Tuition & Financial Aid

At Wildwood Academy, we believe families should understand the cost of attendance clearly—and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

Wildwood is a fully independent school. Our budget is supported by tuition and owner contributions. While we are structured as a for-profit organization for tax purposes, our goal each year is simple: to operate sustainably while making a Wildwood education as accessible as possible to our community.

Our admissions process is free. If you have questions about tuition or financial aid, we encourage you to reach out. We are always happy to talk through options and help families determine whether Wildwood is the right fit.

Tuition

Full tuition for grades 3–8 is $15,000 per year.

Wildwood tuition is all-inclusive. There are no additional program or activity fees. Tuition includes:

  • After School Program (ASP)

  • Adventure Mondays

  • All school trips and experiences

  • Wildwood shuttle transportation

  • Specialized adventure equipment (such as skis or bicycles), when needed

We work intentionally to keep required family purchases to a minimum. Families should plan to provide:

  • A working Chromebook

  • Appropriate outdoor and adventure-ready clothing

Financial Aid

We believe that family finances should not be a barrier to a Wildwood education.

As a general guideline, we aim to keep tuition at or below approximately 10% of a family’s income, with tuition typically ranging from $6,000 to $15,000 per year, depending on individual circumstances.

Financial aid decisions are:

  • Personalized and conversation-based

  • Not formula-driven

  • Adjusted for family size (tuition is not calculated per child)

Our financial aid process is intentionally lightweight and relational. We value direct conversation over paperwork and work with families to find realistic, sustainable solutions.

Payment Plans & Work-Trade

Tuition may be paid through a 10- or 12-month payment plan, depending on family needs.

If tuition remains a challenge after financial aid, families are encouraged to reach out. Work-trade opportunities may be available on a case-by-case basis. While we do not anticipate offering full-tuition scholarships in the coming year, expanding access remains an important long-term goal.
