School and Class Sizes

At Wildwood, a small school population and class sizes are imperative to our philosophy and culture.

Adolescents, we believe, thrive in a smaller school and class so educators can understand their needs and personalities. It allows for our students to form deeper and more meaningful relationships with both peers and educators. It also allows for more guidance and oversight as adolescents, in modern society, are increasingly subjected to age inappropriate stresses and pressures.

Our student population is capped at forty two students. Our academic classes will have no more than fourteen students in a class. Our math classes have two educators for a student to educator of no more than seven to 1. Our place-based classes will have an educator to student ratio of no more than eleven to one.
