School and Class Sizes
At Wildwood, a small school population and class sizes are imperative to our philosophy and culture.
Adolescents, we believe, thrive in a smaller school and class so educators can understand their needs and personalities. It allows for our students to form deeper and more meaningful relationships with both peers and educators. It also allows for more guidance and oversight as adolescents, in modern society, are increasingly subjected to age inappropriate stresses and pressures.
Our student population is capped at 42 students. Our academic classes will have no more than 14 students in a class. Our place-based classes will have an educator to student ratio of no more than eleven to one.
