We're very pleased to announce that, for the 2020/21 school year, Wildwood will have an eight acre outdoor campus just seven minutes from Downtown Hood River! The campus is located west of town and just below Mitchell Point.
The campus is the property of Dov Rohan and his lovely wife and baby. Dov is our resident jack-of-all-trades at Wildwood and his property makes for an excellent outdoor campus and learning center.
Included on the campus will be two ponds (one for swimming and one for ducks); a frisbee golf course; archery area; organic garden; a commercial kitchen; hiking trails, an outdoor art center; a woodworking center, and much, much more. The campus extends up to Mitchell Point and Post Canyon for plenty of hiking and exploring opportunities.
For the start of the new school year, every Monday will be spent at the property so students will get plenty of outdoor time, fun, and education.
